Cookies & Technologies
This website sets no cookies. It also uses no localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or service workers, and it loads no scripts, fonts, maps, videos or images from other websites. That is why we show no consent dialog: there is no optional technology for which it would make sense to ask your permission.
What we verified
We loaded the site in a clean browser with no prior history and recorded every network request and all device storage, on both the Greek and the English page. The result:
| Technology | In use? |
|---|---|
| Cookies (first or third party) | No — no cookie, no Set-Cookie header |
| localStorage / sessionStorage | No — both remain empty |
| IndexedDB | No — no database is created |
| Service worker | No — none is registered |
| Analytics, statistics, pixels, advertising | No — no such code exists on the site |
| Third-party fonts (e.g. Google Fonts) | No — your system fonts are used |
| Embedded content (iframe, map, YouTube, social) | No — no iframe, no embed |
| Requests to other websites while loading | No — every file comes from mezedofolia.gr |
What does happen technically
- Requests to the hosting service. To show you a page, your browser requests files from the hosting infrastructure (Google Firebase Hosting). That involves your IP address and ordinary technical request details. It is not storage on your device, but it is processing of data, and we describe it in the Privacy Policy.
- Your browser's cache. As with any website, your browser temporarily stores images and files in its cache so pages load faster. That is a browser feature, you control it from your browser settings, and it gives us no information about you.
- The contact form. The text you type stays in the page and, when you press the button, is copied to your device's clipboard. It is not stored by the website and it is not sent anywhere.
Why there is no consent banner
Consent for cookies and for access to your device is required when a website stores or reads information on your terminal equipment for purposes that are not strictly necessary for the service you asked for. Neither happens here. A banner that corresponds to no actual technology would give you no real choice — it would only be an obstacle. So we chose to document exactly what happens instead of showing a decorative dialog.
If we add optional technology in the future — for example traffic statistics, an embedded map or a video from another platform, or a social network pixel — then:
- it will not load before you give your consent,
- you will be asked with an equally available accept and reject option, and no pre-ticked boxes,
- you will be able to change or withdraw your choice as easily as you gave it, and
- this page will be updated first.
How you can check this yourself
You do not have to take our word for it. Open your browser's developer tools (usually the F12 key), go to the “Application” or “Storage” tab, and you will see no cookies and no storage entries for mezedofolia.gr. In the “Network” tab you will see that every request goes to mezedofolia.gr.
